Scott Rhodes
Scott Rhodes attended the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forest Resources. He earned a B.S. in Forest Resources in 1996 with a special emphasis in Timber Management as well as Wildlife Management.
Scott is a South Carolina and Georgia Registered Forester, Certified Wildlife Biologist, and South Carolina licensed real estate salesman. In 2008 Scott was awarded the Deer Manager of the Year Award at the National Convention of the QDMA. Other professional memberships and accreditations include the South Carolina Forestry Association, lifetime Quality Deer Management Association member, South Carolina Prescribed Fire Manager, Registered Tree Farm Inspector, and The Wildlife Society.
Scott has over 20 years of forestry and wildlife experience and specializes in the development of integrated wildlife management plans, federal and state grant and cost share procurement, GIS map development, native vegetation establishment, and client relations.
Scott resides on the coast in Beaufort, South Carolina where he lives with his wife Virginia, two daughters Jane and Kate, and Chesapeake Bay Retriever Cali. He enjoys spending time with his family, photography, wing shooting, big game hunting, and fly fishing the coast of South Carolina.
Phillip Miller
Phillip earned a B.S degree in Forest Management from University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forest Resources in 1995 with special emphasis in Timber Management.
Phillip has over 15 years of experience assisting private landowners with the management of their properties. His specialties include reforestation, burning, valuation and timber inventory, management planning, GIS development, timber marketing and Real Estate.
Phillip is a South Carolina and Georgia Registered Forester and a South Carolina Real Estate Broker. He is a member of the South Carolina Forestry Association and Forest Landowners Association. Phillip is also a Certified Tree Farm Inspector (ATFS) and a South Carolina Prescribed Fire Manager.
Phillip lives in Barnwell with his wife Shannan and two sons Nathan and Price. Phillip is an active member of Barnwell Presbyterian Church where he serves as an elder. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and outdoors recreation, however most of his time is spent coaching and supporting “the boys” sports and extracurricular activities!
